I’m Alberto Ferrero. And I create storytelling photography that does all these things and more.

I talk a lot about stories, so let me tell you mine.

It started in Italy where I studied visual design and worked as a graphic designer for a few years. A creative community of friends and a desire for new experiences is what led me to Germany. There I began working as an art director and photographer for a well-known e-commerce business. But as anyone who’s ever worked for a startup will attest, that actually meant I was doing a little bit of everything. Graphic design. Designing landing pages. Leading a team. A little bit of marketing, too. And that’s the path I’ve been on until now.

I left to start my own agency because I wanted to practice what I do best – taking care of my clients, guiding them through what is best for their site, coming up with strategies, and ultimately delivering images that make their brand look flawless. After 10+ years in this business, I’ve learned not just about every aspect of the creative process, but also how product photography and how it fits into a website can literally make or break a product. Who do I work with?

Most of my clients are startups and small companies with innovative or sustainable products. Any product can be transformed with a bit of storytelling, but this is especially true for products that are new to the market, needing a boost in credibility, or unique production or features that need to be called out.

What's with the name?

LIQUIDMARBLE is a mix of things – some that I’m personally connected to and others that reflect the nature of my work.

Marble is the material of my home city, Carrara, Italy. It’s an expensive material that makes its mark wherever it is used, both in ancient cathedrals or modern pop art internet trends like vaporwave.
